In August I went on a mission trip through Asia.
I got to support local ministries and churches and share the Gospel.
together with some friends I supported ministries in Nepal and Malaysia and visited a YWAM Base in Indonesia.
More info below.
Since SOE has ended and I have a break now until I start staffing in Malaysia full-time in September, I went to Nepal with my brother, a friend and my Girlfriend.
We visited the places again, where I've already been for my DTS outreach in January. It's been so nice to be back and see the people again and getting more of God's heart for Nepal and what he wants to do there.
We went hiking and did personal evangelism, prayed for people and shared the Gospel.
We even met some people that lived in different areas in Nepal.
A lady got healed from couching and chest pain.
One guy's eye pain left after we prayed and another guy got healed in his foot.💯
We were part of a church service where I got to share my testimony and God's heart for Nepal.
Then we went to a different region, where I've also been in January, which is more countryside.
We stayed there for three days and shared the Gospel in that area.
We also hiked to a church there, prayed for people and shared the Gospel.
A man's arm got healed after we prayed, he gave his life to Jesus, a women got healed from knee pain.
Another women got encouraged as we prayed for her and her family.
In the evening we were part of a house fellowship, stayed over night and hiked back to the Base the day after.
Now I’m back in Malaysia. Today we went to a church that I had already attended several times before, and I brought my brother and a few others with me.
The preaching was about Revival, especially for Malaysia.
Less than 4% of the population are Christians. That makes it even more impressive to see how active the churches are here and how they live out unity. The pastor shared about a leaders’ meeting where people from different churches got on their knees together and laid everything before God.
Revival starts with us as Christians and in our hearts.
In East Malaysia, it's already visible, God is touching people’s lives there. In November, I’ll also be going there for an outreach.
I’m really looking forward to that, especially getting g an even deeper heart for Malaysia and for the people here.
On Tuesday, the church is hosting a worship evening, where we’ll share about our trip to Kenya. Some people from the church supported us financially for the trip.
In Indonesia last week I visited a YWAM Base, was able to meet friends, joined ministries and the DTS class. It was really nice, they do everything in Indonesian. So I was able to learn a little bit more of the language. Also it has been amazing join them for ministries, see how they do things and live community there.
Now I'm back in Malaysia and the leadership training started. We have 3 weeks with the whole staff team.
In the mornings we have worship or Intercession all together. After that we have class and this week we learned a lot about different aspects of leadership, how biblical leadership looks like and what that means for individual callings.
Also we wrote down vision statements about our callings, which was really exciting and brought a lot of clarity for everyone's callings.
Also it has been really nice to get to know everyone from the staff team more and build deeper relationships.
